Dongsi Flea Market + Green Bazaar

All ages. The flea market kicks off with a yoga session, while at the same time there will be a range of vendors familiar from around Beijing’s market scene. The event features food, drink and music, and a documentary screening or two, as well as talks from some cool names in the environmental movement from around Beijing.

Roundabout Book Fair at MSB

All ages. The International Montessori School of Beijing (MSB) is hosting the Roundabout Book Fair at the school’s Multi-Purpose Hall. There will be different genres for both young and old book lovers to add to their collection. The books will also be in different languages, so if you’re in search of a book in a language other than English be sure to pop in, to browse the extensive collection and get a few books at bargain prices. Prices start as low as RMB 1 for children’s books. All proceeds will be used to help children in need.

Aidi School Spring Family Day

All ages. Beijing Aidi School is inviting everyone to their Spring Family Day at their campus. The event focuses on the four themes of “Health, Reading, Art, and Technology.” It’s a joint effort by Aidi School and more than 50 high-end educational service institutions, presenting fun activities including games, sports, exhibitions, and educational expert talks.

BSB Car Boot Sale

All ages. Come and shop for great deals at The British School of Beijing (BSB) Shunyi Car Boot Sale. Interesting items will be offered for sale by students’ parents in the school parking lot. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to Roundabout. Coffee and snacks will be on sale too.

Farm to Neighbors Market

All ages. Farm to Neighbors Market (aka F2N Market) is presenting a new monthly market at Peide School in Shunyi. It will bring a family-friendly market to the Shunyi community on every third Saturday of the month. The market will not only feature F2N’s well-known local farms, artisanal foods, and handcrafts vendors, but also offer variety of DIY workshops designed for kids by Peide School.

Fangcaodi International School Spring Fair

All ages. The annual Fangcaodi International School Spring Fair takes place on May 5 with the theme, “Where There Is Health, There Is Hope.” It’s a great opportunity to promote your products and services to 1,200 expats’ families. Besides the 120 booths, they will also offer a playground, an exposition of different countries’ cultures, performances on the main stage, and a lucky draw.

ISB Spring Fair 2018

All ages. The annual International School of Beijing (ISB) Spring Fair is a community event and expat fair full of games, raffles, shopping, and food, pulled together by Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) volunteers. The Spring Fair offers child-friendly carnival games, shopping with unique and artisan vendors, grand prize raffle draws, delicious food from a wide variety of Beijing and international cuisines, and live entertainment. Money raised from this event is used to finance student enrichment and charity activities.
